SAHM

I have really enjoyed being a SAHM the last 6 ? weeks, I'm supposed to be doing contract work for my old company but they are dragging their feet. Various news:
Christina is done with baby food and formula. She's eating table food and drinking milk. She walks all the time.
Joey is potty training about half the day, the only way I can get him to sit on the potty at 15 or 20 minute intervals is to leave the TV on all day and threaten to turn it off. And have a supply of cupcakes and cookies around.
Joe is in Phoenix, I feel sorry for my husband, he is working all the time and never getting enough sleep.
It has rained the last two days, we spent yesterday at Chick-fil-a, and today at Jumpin Joey's. Hopefully tomorrow the sun will be out.
We had dinner at Epcot, Italy the other night. It was a nice night out, even got to stay and watch the fireworks.

took the kids to daytona beach for an afternoon, it was an hour and a half drive but well worth it. they had a blast, neither one was afraid of the water, joey enjoyed swimming with daddy in the ocean.

Visit with the Grandparents

Visited with grandma and great grandma and grandpa the last couple of days in Plantation, FL. Christina is taking 10 steps at a time, she really made a lot of progress while we were there, Joey had fun chasing lizards. here are some pics:

we're finally here and settled (and moving in a month since Joe's commute is an hour each way)..kids are enjoying not having to go to daycare and mommy is enjoying more joey, christina, and hubby time. we've had lunch with joe almost every day. here are some pics:

Easter

The easter bunny came to our house. we hunted for eggs this morning, Joey put his bucket on the ground, picked the eggs up one by one, after each one he would sit on the lawn mower and eat the candy out of it. I put out about 100 eggs, so you can imagine we were out all morning. The easter bunny also bought him a helicopter which he played with for 3 hours this morning, when we took a car ride to lull him to sleep for his nap he had it in his lap. Here are some pics

Joey's Hill

Joey has decided he has to pile all of his toys on top of part of his bed. This is the part of his truck bed that is supposed to be the front with seats and a steering wheel, but it's not done yet, so it's still a platform. He will stand proudly on top of his mattress and say 'mommy, look, my hill, my toys, all Joey's toys' (only he says hill like 'heel')

here's christina's latest bruise, she hit her head on Joey's bookshelf, shortly after I took this picture she fell on Joey's bed, then knocked down some books and hurt her hand, on top of this she has a stomach virus and has been cranky in general

I took Christina to the doctor this weekend, she had a fever of 101, no ear infection and no strep, just a virus.

I wish I had some pics to post. Maybe next time. Some cute things that have happened:

Christina stood up for a few seconds on her own, twice last weekend..she was holding
onto Joey's truck and let go and was standing there for a second. I love those first moments when we are all actually at home and can see it.

Joey really really needs a week of intensive potty training. he is ready. we've
had little successess but he is just so much more interested in playing than using
the potty, I think i need some other reward besides stickers. I'm planning a week
at home where we do nothing but sit on the potty, with lots of rewards. He knows
when he has to go, the other morning he told me he had 'hot pee pee' in his diaper and laid down on the floor waiting for me to change him.

We had Joe's suprise birthday party last Sat, and wouldn't you know I was so busy
I didn't take a single picture. His cake said 'You're how old?' and had a bunch of laughing men on it, a lot of his friends and our neighbors showed up, Emily got Joe out of the house for me a few hours, she did a great job. They went to the movies, out for ice cream, drove by her friends house, then Emily told Joe she wanted to ride around and count mailboxes, at this point he started suspecting something, Emily texted me constantly telling me how stubborn Joe was being, that all he wanted to do was go home and take a nap. She is awesome.

Joey was riding one of his trucks the other day and Christina was hanging onto the back of it walking, Joey was going really slow for her and kept looking back to
see if she was ok. They love each other, so heart melting CUTE !!

i MISS my husband, he is in Orlando until sometime next week.
